Dialogue as method and philosophy, that means “Back and forth”. This wonderful project was born as an exercise of artistic dialogue and thought between the Mexican architect, philosopher and visual artist Aura Cruz, and the Mexican photographer, anthropologist and journalist Obed Arango in 2010. On that occasion they shared art for 15 weeks, and gave way to the exhibition “Light, Profusion and Life”, which also became the pioneer of a virtual museum that can still be seen today at www.deidayvuelta.net.
In the REVARTE, Obed and Aura will share about that first dialogue, which also became the basis of a strong friendship between them that had already begun in the early nineties when they were both teenagers.
From 2010 to 2020 it took ten years for Aura and Obed to give new life to the project, and during the pandemic for about 25 weeks they interviewed every Friday comrades from the community, art, theater, philosophy, poetry, muralism and plastic arts. “De ida y vuelta” became an expected and alternative space on FaceBook live, without the hope or expectation of having an audience, it was just an open dialogue with no beginning, no end and no format, a fresh way of producing … .
In this third round of, “De ida y vuelta”, through REVARTE, will be part of the publication and the podcast that is beginning to be designed.
On this occasion “De ida y vuelta” begins a new dialogue and this time opens with the writing circle of CCATE, the group that gave rise and idea to the creation of the electronic magazine REVARTE.
