Friday, March 24, the General Secretary of the Organization of Americas States (OAS), Luis Almagro, visited the University of Pennsylvania to sign a Memorandum of Understanding for a mutual collaboration with the university and community partners. An initiative of the Latin America and Latinx studies led by Dr. Tulia Falleti and Dr. Cathy Bartch.
CCATE is one of the community partners for the project, and this will give an opportunity to our high school students to be part of a program. Our vision is to develop leaders that love and want to contribute to the community. We also met with maestra Marian Vidaurri, OAS Chief Strategist for democracy in the continent. I see tremendous future for our young people and our community!
